| Details | On Friday 26th September, St Peter and St James Hospice Burgess Hill Support Group are holding an exciting event in St Wilfred Church Hall, ‘An Evening with Richard Griffin, Former Royal Protection Officer’. Richard Griffin LVO has been invited to talk about his exhilarating career as the Royal Protection Officer to both Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Please come along to hear anecdotes from his time with her Majesty as he visited over 160 countries, and met Nelson Mandela, His Holiness the Pope and President Bush. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start and close at 10pm. There will be a bar selling both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. There will also be a raffle. | Cost | Tickets are £10 per person, with children between 10 – 16 free. There is no limit as to how many you wish to buy but there are only 80 tickets available. All sales will be donated to the Hospice. |
