| Details | You’re are invited to Burgess Hill Town Council’s Spring Tea Party, with nibbles, hot drinks, and musical entertainment from Keziah! It will be held at Kings Weald Community Centre, on Thursday 30th April, from 1.30pm to 4pm. There’s free parking right outside or the venue is serviced by buses 35c and 35a. FREE tickets can be booked, via the Help Point at 96 Church Walk or by calling 01444 247726. As an addition to the tea party, ten local organisations who provide services to older residents will be attending with information for you! Including Age UK, WSCC Prevention Assessment Team, and MSOPC. Burgess Hill Creative Community will be bringing information about their craft groups and WSCC Digital Safety & Fraud Prevention Team will speak about how to keep yourself safe from fraud. You can also expect representatives from Places Leisure and Tapestry Day Club. HILS will also join us, to talk about the independent living support they can provide. GoodOaks Homecare, who have kindly paid for the food, and Keymer Hall Boutique Care Home, who have sponsored the musical entertainment, will have representatives in attendance too. PLEASE NOTE: Priority will be given to Burgess Hill residents, should there be any availability, non-residents will be able to book the week prior to the tea party. |
