Details	The next Burgess Hill Theatre Club production will be a play entitled The Distance and will take place from Wednesday 21st October 2026 to Saturday 24th October 2026. When Bea arrives unexpectedly at her best friend's home in Brighton after five years in Australia, she comes alone. She has left behind her life, her husband… and her children. A decision her friends struggle to support or even understand. As questions mount - why did she leave? Why didn’t she bring the children with her? Why won’t she go back for them? - the lives of those around her begin to unravel too. With a teenager trapped in London's riots and family tensions simmering beneath the surface, friendships are tested and long-held beliefs about parenthood, love, and responsibility are challenged.
