| Details | Burgess Hill Soup returns on Friday November 13th at The Cherry Tree Centre, Fairfield Road, Burgess Hill. It's purpose is to bring local people and good ideas together and eat soup! All money raised goes to support local grassroots projects. Local charities pitching their ideas, tasty soups and dessert, music, and a raffle. The timetable on the night... • 6.45pm: 4 presenters have 5 minutes each to make a pitch for their charities. After each pitch, the audience get a chance to ask questions. • 7.30pm: eat from a choice of three delicious soups and help yourself to a pudding. (You are welcome to bring your own snacks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks.) Chat to your neighbour, listen to the live music, vote for your favourite pitch and buy a raffle ticket or two. • 8.30pm: The raffle gets drawn and the pitch with the highest number of votes gets announced.
